I have always had a love for dogs and that followed me into adulthood where I've spent the last five years working in rescue. Within the last few years, I've pursued my passion of co-founding and becoming the director of a local dog rescue in the GTA (MUTTS Dog Rescue) and embarked on various trips to the US and across Canada to help save and rehome dogs in need. I've fostered 10 dogs (and counting) from 5 weeks old and up, fostered four baby kittens, helped care for three family dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, dog sat a number of times, and currently have two rescue dogs (a husky/lab/shep x and a meximutt) and three cats. Working in rescue has helped me gain a deeper understanding of a dog's mannerisms and behaviours which allows me to advocate for them in the way they deserve. I work from home full-time which allows me more than enough time and flexibility to provide all the things needed to help you and your pets out! With over 25 years of experience under my belt, I have the confidence and knowledge to properly care for your pet whether that be through crating, feeding, walking and/or providing medication. A double leash will be beneficial should the dog be a flight risk and a loose lead walk will be given with proper corrections if needed. My main priority is the safety of your dog.
