Student who misses her dogs!
I have grown up with two Labrador girls (one is age 7 and one is 10), helping to train them when they were puppies, feed them, give the older one her medication, and walk them both daily. Having grown up in a leafy village, I love to be outdoors, and enjoy walking or running in the Cardiff parks while at university. I would absolutely love to take a dog with me, and can adjust the walk length/level of activity (e.g playing fetch, walking vs running) accordingly. I live with four other dog lovers, and any dog would receive a very warm welcome to the house! We have informally dog sat for friends (shown in photos of us in our kitchen), which has worked really well, and it was lovely to give them lots of love and attention!

I would highly recommend Katia as a pet caregiver as she is very kind, responsible and caring. She is also someone who has pets herself and after knowing her (and her pets!) for many years now, I have no doubt that she would be perfect for this. She is very reliable and always has such a happy disposition so I would have complete trust in her to care for any pet.
I’ve known Katia for 3 years and have seen firsthand how caring and loving she is with her own dogs. She is so attentive and patient with them - always putting their wellbeing first. She is such a natural with dogs - playful and fun, but always responsible too. She would be a great caregiver to anyone else’s pets too!

Schedule
I am currently on placement from Monday-Thursday, but am free on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for dog walking. Dog sitting availability will vary depending on the week. A typical day would include some walks/runs in the park (1-3 per day), some time at home (working, cooking, relaxing), and maybe a trip to a cafe/pub (all flexible). We sometimes go for small day trips as a house, e.g. Barry, Penarth, Brecon Beacons hikes, Dunraven Bay.

I live a 10 minute walk from a park which has lovely paths and fields for walks/runs. (The connected fields have lots of space, great for playing and running off the lead). It is a five person house (including me) where we are all dog lovers. It has a cosy living room with a sofa, a kitchen, dining room and a small fenced garden (little patio, and shrubbery/grassy area) where dogs would have easy, frequent access in and out. Would be happy to set up a dog basket/crate in any of the above rooms.
