Hi, I’m Kathy! I have over 20 years of experience with dogs and truly love spending time with them. I grew up around dogs, had my own small dog for 15 years, and now share my life with my 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Saphir, who is calm, friendly, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Over the years, I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter and have looked after many friends’ and clients’ dogs, whether for short stays or longer holidays. I live in an apartment, but because I have a Husky, long daily walks are already part of my routine. I take dogs out at least three times a day and always adapt to their individual needs, routines, feeding schedules, and any special care or medication they may require. Recently, my own dog recovered from an injury, which gave me even more experience caring for dogs that need extra attention, patience, and gentle handling. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priority. I speak German, English, and Spanish, and I would be delighted to welcome your dog into a loving, calm, and caring environment while you’re away. ¡Hola! Soy Kathy. Tengo más de 20 años de experiencia con perros y disfruto muchísimo cuidándolos. He crecido rodeada de perros, tuve un perro pequeño durante 15 años y ahora vivo con mi Husky Siberiano de 12 años, Saphir, que es muy tranquilo, sociable y se lleva muy bien con otros perros. A lo largo de los años he cuidado perros de todos los tamaños, razas, edades y personalidades. Además, colaboro como voluntaria en un refugio de animales y he cuidado perros de amigos y clientes tanto para estancias cortas como para vacaciones más largas. Vivo en un apartamento, pero como tengo un Husky, los paseos largos forman parte de mi rutina diaria. Salgo con los perros al menos tres veces al día y siempre adapto los paseos, la alimentación, los horarios y cualquier tratamiento o necesidad especial a cada perro. Hace poco mi propio perro se recuperó de una lesión, por lo que tengo experiencia cuidando perros que necesitan medicación, atención especial y mucha paciencia. La seguridad, el bienestar y la felicidad de tu perro son siempre mi prioridad. Hablo alemán, inglés y español, y estaré encantada de cuidar de tu perro en un ambiente tranquilo, seguro y lleno de cariño mientras tú estás fuera.

Schedule
I work remotely from home, which allows me to organize my schedule around the dogs in my care. They are never left alone for long periods, and I can give them the attention, companionship, and care they deserve throughout the day. I take the dogs out three times a day—morning, afternoon, and evening. During the summer, I adjust our schedule to avoid the hottest hours, making sure walks are safe and comfortable. Most of our walks are in nature, and I adapt the length and pace to each dog’s age, energy level, and needs. Since I have a Husky myself, I’m used to longer walks and active dogs, but I’m just as happy caring for senior dogs or those who prefer a slower pace. I believe dogs thrive with a consistent routine, so I provide a calm, structured environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. I also enjoy training dogs and have always been passionate about learning about their behavior. In fact, when I was younger, I wanted to become a dog trainer, so I have a good understanding of positive reinforcement, communication, and helping dogs build good habits.

I live in a apartment in aloha with my husky and we go daily for long walks in the nature. According to the summer heat, we prefer to go out before 8.30 am and late in the evening. After 8.30 pm. Inside we keep the air conditioning for nice siestas
