I recently retired from the University of South Florida, so I currently have ample free time as well as abundant energy. I look forward to meeting your precious pets and providing them with all of the affection and care they deserve, I am available for drop in visits and dog walking.

I currently have three large male dogs: German Shepherd, English Mastiff and a Pointer mix. All three boys go for walks in a nearby park and have a large fenced in yard for playtime, however they also love to be in the house enjoying the air conditioning. I respect all pet owner rules, so I will feed, walk and care for your pets according to your wishes. I will also clean up, water plants, etc.. as needed. I can make visits to your home at any time based on your needs and I can also take your pets for walks. I am not available at this time to stay overnight in your home because of the needs of my own pets and I am also not boarding dogs in my home.

Please let me know about any special needs that your pets may have including medical, emotional and/or behavioral. Also I would love to know what their favorite activity is or if they have a special spot where they like to get an extra petting. Happy pets make the world a better place.
A typical day
Depending on the needs of each individual pet, I am happy to take short and slow walks or long brisk walks mixed with some jogging. I would love to mentally stimulate your pets with toys and games, practicing simple sit and stay commands, and offering praise and love in abundance.

I have loved and cared for pets for over 40 years including dogs, cats, bunnies, hermit crabs, and caiques. I currently have three beautiful dogs and a caique who are my best friends. I have done pet sitting and dog walking for coworkers and neighbors over the past 20 years and I also volunteered for Cat Crusaders in Tampa for three years where I cared for cats housed in a local PetSmart. This involved cage cleaning, playing and administering medications. . Due to my recent retirement that has given me abundant free time, I have decided to offer these services on Rover. I welcome the opportunity to care for your pets in a professional, loving and timely manner.

Kathy was wonderful with my two senior boys! She sat with them for several hours and sent a multitude of pictures keeping me updated throughout the day. Usually finding a sitter whilst on vacation is stressful but she made the whole process stress-less. I would 100% rebook with her in the future when we vacation here again.
