Room to run and play!
Rick and I live on a quiet private road. There is a large fenced yard with lots of grass and shade trees. There is also a covered outdoor area and a large daylight basement, accessible by doggy door, which is warm and dry in the winter and nice and cool all summer. Your pet will be welcome in the house with us and we have several cozy beds around the house. It is a great place for running and chasing chipmunks, or just sleeping in the grass. Rick and I have a relaxed atmosphere and really enjoy getting to know different dogs. We are loving dog owners who have struggled with leaving our own dog in a kennel. We used Rover and found a loving home for him to stay in while we were traveling. Now, we have made room in our home for your dog. We especially like larger dogs. We usually host only one doggy guest at a time but will make some exceptions.

Really appreciated Kathy and Rick’s flexibility on a last minute change! As always, Japhy loved his time with them. It’s always so sweet to see how excited he is to see them when we pull up to their door!

Rick and Kathy took great care of Mojo again. We were happy that he got to play with other dogs during his stay. We will definitely be using their service again 😁
Kathy and Rick welcomed Rocket to their home like he was family. This was our first visit with a rover sitter and they made us and Rocket feel very comfortable. Kathy was great sending pictures and texts throughout his stay which was just overnight. We feel so relieved that we have a loving rover home to take Rocket when we travel or have an emergency. Thank you Kathy and Rick!
We are so thankful for Kathy, she is the best, we loved the daily pictures and videos. Our dog Stella really enjoyed her time there.

Schedule
Your dog may have about 1-3 hours without people on weekdays but can always have access to both outdoors and indoors. We have a dog bed next to our bed for nights.

We have a fenced yard with lots of grass. If your dog loves to chase a ball or frisbie, this is the place. At night, the dogs sleep in our room but not on our bed.
Pets
A typical day
When weather permits we can take walks on our private road, play ball or frizbie in our big grass yard. When it is hot outside, we set up a little pool for cooling off. This is a rather rustic yard so we don't mind a little hole digging for doggy fun! There is always some shade in the backyard and our basement is nice and cool in the summer, warm and cozy in winter. The dogs can chase chipmunks all day and sleep in our cozy bedroom at night.
