I am Red Cross certified in CPR and First Aid for both dogs and cats, an active member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and fully insured. I'm retired and home all day. I offer discounts or free nights for bookings over 11 nights. LGBTQ and IPOC friendly. I’ve cared for senior and special needs dogs and cats, pregnant cats and Guinea pigs, litters of kittens and individual puppies and rabbits. Whether I’m walking your dog, or giving your feline medicine, they deserve the utmost in care and compassion. Kathy is the most thoughtful, dedicated and kind sitter ever. She was so careful, attentive and considerate in her care. She took the time to get to know me and ask questions about my dog and her preferences and any special attention she may need to ensure MacKintosh got the best care and felt at home from the start. From the moment she welcomed us to her home with an adorable sign, and the way she was so warm and gentle with introducing my dog to her dog, everything was so thoughtful and intentional. Also, the backyard is not only beautiful but a dream come true for a little doggie. As soon as MacKintosh got there, she was running around and playing with Kathy and her dogs and MacKintosh had the loveliest time. When I picked her up, she was so relaxed and happy and not anxious in the slightest, and it was clear that my dog was loved and cared for with warmth and kindness. I could not recommend Kathy and her husband enough. I will definitely be coming back to her time and again. <3

I’m so glad to have left Teddy at Kathy’s care. From the initial meeting, I knew Teddy would be in good hands. Kathy is very thorough. She asked questions, made sure Teddy would be comfortable, and she really put my mind at ease while I was away. The updates were comforting and Teddy came home tired and happy. I will definitely book again and I highly recommend Kathy to anyone who’s looking to leave your fur baby in great hands.

Kathy was super easy to book with and sent multiple photos and updates while Penny was boarded at her house. Penny seemed to love Kathy’s large backyard and grass area. I’ll definitely be booking again for boarding and some dog walks.

Schedule
I’m a young retiree who loves to stay active and interact with fur babies of all types and ages. I'm home all day - as is my retired husband. On the rare occasion I have a doctor/dentist appointment, my husband cares for the dogs - so they are never alone. Our yard is fully fenced, almost a half acre and plenty of clean, fresh, green grass to exercise and play in (see in photos.) My house is smoke free, air conditioned in summer, and pet friendly with plenty of space for cozy naps and room to play inside and out.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is paramount as I care for your dog or cat. For your pets safety, I travel with a portable pet first aid kit and pepper spray. In order to give individual care and follow safety protocols, I only board two dogs at a time. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my highest priorities.

A typical day
Dog Walking: Depending on your pets preference and energy level, we'll walk, jog, and play games. If there is a park nearby we'll check it out. I include my pet first aid kit and pepper spray for your dog safety on all walks. Dog boarding: My fully fenced backyard is a shy half acre of green grass to frolic in. For mental stimulation, I have several dog puzzles and games. On hot days, I bring out the dog pool or sprinkler. We have scheduled walks and nap times and plenty of indoor space for the pack. My house is smoke free and pet friendly. I live just 8 minutes west of Sea Tac for convenient drop off and pick up. I'd love to meet you and your pet!
