I currently live in a fairly large condo not much of a yard but a lot of grassy areas for walking dogs. I have a beagle who gets along with most dogs and all cats. I have a cat who is more like a dog and tolerates dogs in the home. My dog gets at least three walks a day, she loves when other dogs come along.

I’ve always had dogs and would always help out friends when they’d go on vacation. I am that person who’s more interested in meeting the dog than the people, I am comfortable caring for a wide variety of pets.

If a picture of a human could be posted next to the featured dog of a month on a dog calendar or display, it would have to be Kathy with her smiling face tucked in closely to a large dog, small dog, pedigreed, mutt, foster dog, hyperactive or mellow dog, puppy or canine senior. Kathy loves all dogs and her exuberance and "animal talk" is well-understood by them. She loves to play with dogs, is very attentive to their needs, and is very comfortable taking care of dogs with special needs or health conditions. She is very organized, easily keeps track of and feeds and walks dogs on schedule. Kathy is very comfortable, gentle, and nurturing with dogs. If dogs are man's best friend, Kathy is their best friend.
