My backyard is completely fenced in and my dog makes a wonderful playmate. Pets are allowed on the furniture or can be crated, depending on what they need. Dogs boarding at my home are not left alone - me or my husband is always home during a boarding stay.

Information I need to know beforehand include: if the dog(s) is up to date on vaccinations and things like flea and tick and heartworm prevention; how does your dog let you know they need to go to the bathroom; do they have any resource guarding issues; do they have any issues with storms or loud noises like fireworks?
A typical day
My dog will generally supply plenty of interaction and socialization with any dog that is staying with me. I have a completely fenced in backyard and a walkable neighborhood so running in the yard, playing with my dog or a walk around the block are all activities that can be expected.

I have had pets my whole life, from finned to furry, and pets in our family are family. I will be able to give your dog whatever they need and will treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs that have anxiety issues as well as dispensing oral medications. Working with Rover has given me numerous opportunities to interact with other great dog people and develop strong working relationships with my clients and their families. So whether it is a romp in my fenced in backyard, a walk around the neighborhood, or it's a lazy day on the couch, your pets have a loving home away from home with me.
