Dog Loving, Retired Teacher
I’ve cared for dogs for about 25 years. I have experience with puppies, elderly and sick dogs. I live in a dog friendly house with a fenced in yard. Dogs will have access to the outside anytime they want. They will also be crate free in the house. (You are welcome to bring a crate if that is what makes your dog most comfortable. Dogs are allowed on the couch and I have several dog beds. I currently have a neutered golden retriever. He is a 1 1/2 year old fun loving boy named Snickerdoodle. He is very good with other dogs plays readily but will leave others to themselves if they choose. Dogs have a great sense about each other.

Kathy is a wonderful sitter. She has an innate sense of how to be with and how to care for our dogs. Unflappable, personable and communicative, Kathy sent regular updates, (really good) photos and videos while we were away. Our two young dogs can be a lot, but they settled right into her wonderful home. Wish I could post the photo she shared, of our standoffish pup cuddled up next to Kathy on the couch with her head resting on Kathy’s knee. The picture worth a thousand words. Edie & Olive feeling safe and loved; a testament to Kathy’s steady hand, care and grace.

Kathy provided updates throughout my dogs stay, and they had a blast with her!
We left our 14 year old lab mix with Kathy and Snickerdoodle while we explored Rockport. Kelly was very happy to be there with two dogs and Kathy. She had dogs to hang out with and a quiet place to rest and relax as well. Kathy was very responsible, communicative and flexible . We will use her service again when we're in that area.
Chopper came home good and tired after playing and running all day. Easy drop off and pick up and shes super responsive!
I highly recommend Kathy! Plus Snickerdoodle is a sweetheart!

I am a retired teacher and I’m home every day so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. My dog keeps me busy.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in the historic neighborhood of East Gloucester. There are lots of places to walk the dogs. Depending on the weather, I take the dogs to run on the beach off leash. My dog is fed twice a day. In the morning about 830 and in the evening about 6 o’clock. They do get one snap during the day. I am happy to follow your dog’s schedule.

We’re up about 7:00 AM then outside for potty break Breakfast about 8:30 Playing inside or outside then resting To the beach for running and playing sometime during the day, depending on the tide. Clean up and rest Dinner about 6 o’clock
