I have experience with dogs, cats, and other small pets, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’m attentive to their individual needs and personalities. I’m also a very respectful house sitter. I keep things clean, organized, and secure, bring in mail or packages, water plants, and make sure everything is just as you left it (or better) when you return.

When caring for a pet in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal, calm, and comfortable as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and bedtime so the pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I spend quality time with them—not just quick check-ins—so they have companionship, attention, and mental stimulation while their family is away. I also keep the home tidy, monitor the pet’s behavior and wellbeing, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Kathy has been caring for my 6 year old Cavapoo, Lucy for several years. Lucy loves her so much, sometimes I worry that she would rather be with Kathy, than with me. Kathy has stayed at my house for weeklong periods and I am always confident that Lucy is in the best hands. She takes her for long walks, helps with training, plays with her and even gives her a bath on occasion. Lucy is my best friend, and I would trust her in Kathy’s hands in any situation. She is very dependable, lives up to her commitments. It is so nice to have someone like Kathy who loves her too.
We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received! From the very beginning, it was clear how much she genuinely loves on our dogs. They absolutely adore her, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing they’re not just being watched, but truly cared for and loved on. She spends real, quality time with our pets — playing with them, giving them attention, and making sure they feel comfortable and happy while we’re away. It’s obvious she treats them like her own, and that kind of care is priceless. On top of the amazing pet care, we came home to a house that was actually neater than when we left! Everything was tidy, organized, and so well taken care of. We’re beyond grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly loving with their pets. 🐾

I am retired and am so fortunate to have flexibility with my time. I maintain my workouts and other chores around my pet duties for that week.
