I generally like to know what the pets schedule is before hand, if they have any anxiety, how long can they be left alone, if they need medication, and if they bark at night.
A typical day
I am energetic and like to be active. I love walks or jogs with dogs. I enjoy taking dogs to the park. I have also taken cats on hikes with me but only if the cat enjoys hikes. (See photos for more details.)

I am an animal lover with 20+ 5-star ratings on Trustedhousesitter. I have experience caring for rescue pets, large and small pets, administering medications, including injecting medicine, and pets with severe anxiety. I have added some of the reviews in the Photos section of my Rover profile. In addition to being a great pet sitter I’m also a highly qualified house sitter. Cleanliness is important to me and I always leave the home clean. I have built water infrastructure systems in other countries and resolved multiple issues while I was pet/house sitting so I'm confident in my ability to fix anything in a house. For example, I've resolved issues such as power outages, water heater stopped working, shower drainage issues, fixing a lawn mower, and replacing an oven.

Kathy was a fantastic house and dog/cat sitter. She took care of my home in NY, collie (Lucy) & cat (Luna) while my husband and I was away for 3 weeks. She collected our mail and packages, water our pants and overall kept my home very tidy. She went the extra mile to keep the house clean. Kathy was always available whenever I wanted to check in with my dog & cat and she reached out to me whenever she had any questions. Kathy took my dog to the beach often & my cat was very comfortable having her around. They both loved her company. We look forward to having Kathy back next time!
Kathy watched my home in California and golden retriever,Buddy, while my family was away for a few weeks. She is a very attractive person and no one has took care of my place better than she has. Kathy is a fantastic pet sitter. She took care of my two cats (one cat is 4 years old, another is 3 years old) and my home while I was away for two months. She left the house, extremely clean, and it did not smell bad at all. My cats loved her. She is tidy and communicated well. I highly recommend her.
