For drop-in visits, my services will very based on the needs of the dog. Potty breaks will always be offered during my visit, as well as some play time. I can prepare any enrichment toys your dog has and if meal time is needed, make sure they are fed. I usually like to bring dog treats so let me know if you would like me to hold off on any treats for dietary purposes.

Information Kathryn Y. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs/requirements prior to meeting so I can give the best care! This includes any dietary restrictions for treats.

A typical day

My dog Leona is a big sniffer, so when we go on walks I make sure she is able to sniff as many spots as possible. It's great mental enrichment and tires her out, so you can expect a lot of sniff breaks on walks. I also bring treats to rewards good behavior or to distract from any potential triggers. My personal favorite dog walking spot is Straight Creek Trail, which is located near my apartment in Dillon Valley. Most of the time it's just me and Leona on the trail so it's a beautiful stroll through the trees. Otherwise, we will walk over to the unoccupied tennis court to play fetch and get the zoomies out.

Proud dog mom!

Pet care experience

I can base most of my pet care experience on my dog and best friend Leona. She came into our lives as a rescue at 6 months old. She had some previous traumas, but with the help of training, treats, and lots of love, she became the most lovable dog you'll meet. I am not a certified trainer, but with Leona, I have experience with walking dog with light reactivity to other dogs. I have no experience with senior dogs at this time but would love to care for them!

Kathryn is super great with dogs, and she'll do a great job taking care of yours. She's a very friendly person who loves animals, so you can count on your dog getting the best care with her.

Kat is great with dogs. When I was busy with family issues, she helped take care of my puppy by taking him on walks and watching him in the house while I was away. He loves when she comes over.
