If your pet could choose their sitter, I’m hoping they’d pick the person who is already excited to meet them! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the furry members of the family. I haven’t been able to have pets of my own for a while, so I’ve happily adopted my friends’ cats and dogs instead—affectionately calling them my **“furry nieces and nephews.”** I’m the person who wants to hear all about their personality, remembers their favorite treats, and is perfectly happy spending an unreasonable amount of time giving them attention. Last year, I took that love a step further and volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I spent my time walking and caring for dogs. I absolutely loved it and realized that getting to know different animals—and figuring out what makes each one comfortable and happy—is something I genuinely enjoy. What I think sets me apart is that I don’t see pet sitting as simply stopping by to feed a pet and check a box. **I want your pet to actually have a good time while you’re away.** Whether that means a long sniff-filled walk, an energetic game of fetch, a cozy afternoon of cuddles, or simply sitting nearby for a nervous pet who needs some company, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Every animal has their own personality, quirks, routines, and preferences, and I love getting to know them. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and completely spoiled—and for you to feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. I’m looking for a flexible way to spend more time doing something I genuinely love, and I’d be thrilled to add your pets to my ever-growing list of furry nieces and nephews. ❤️🐶🐱

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for a pet in their home, I treat their space and routine with the same respect I would want for my own home and animals. I take the time to learn your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, litter box or potty routines, favorite toys, hiding spots, and any quirks or behaviors I should know about. I know that cats especially can be sensitive to changes, so I try to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’m also very mindful of home security. I make sure doors are securely closed, follow any instructions regarding alarms or entry, and am careful with windows, doors, and anything else your pet might get into. I’ll never leave a pet in an unsafe situation or do anything outside of the care instructions you’ve provided. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing that someone trustworthy is looking after your pet and your home. I’m happy to send updates, photos, and little check-ins so you can see how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home—and for you to have peace of mind while you’re away.

Kath was the most compassionate and kind person while watching my dog. She was extremely attentive to all of her needs, routines, feeding instructions and exercise patterns. Kath sent updates and photos frequently during my time away, which helped me relax on my trip and trust that she was in good hands. When I returned, my dog was in great spirits and was well rested, fed and taken care of. You can tell that Kath really loves dogs and genuinely enjoys being around them, playing with them and taking care of them. BEST PERSON TO EVER WATCH MY DOG! <3
I’ve known Kath for over seven years, and she has cared for both of my cats many times over the years. She is incredibly patient, affectionate, and attentive with animals, including those who may be shy or nervous. She is very reliable, follows care instructions closely, and always keeps me updated on how my cats are doing while I’m away. She’s also great at noticing when something seems off and communicating that with me. I completely trust Kath with both my pets and in my home, and she has even been there for me on short notice when I unexpectedly had to go out of town. I’ve also seen how wonderful she is with dogs. Kath genuinely loves animals, and I would absolutely trust and recommend her to anyone looking for someone responsible and caring to look after their pets.

Schedule
One of the best things about my schedule is that I work two part-time jobs, and both are very flexible. This allows me to build pet care into my day and offer visits at different times rather than being tied to a traditional 9–5 schedule. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the week, with even more flexibility on the weekends. I can also make multiple visits throughout the day when your pet needs a little extra attention. My typical availability looks like: Mondays & Wednesdays: I have the most flexibility and can usually stop by up to three times throughout the day. Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: These days are a little busier, but I can still provide a morning visit and an evening visit after 4 PM. Weekends: I have more flexibility and can make multiple visits throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs and location. I know every pet has a different routine, and I’m happy to work with you to create a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat needs a quick morning check-in, some evening playtime, or multiple visits throughout the day, I have the flexibility to make it work.
