Animal lover for life! Growing up with cats and dogs gave me an early foundation in animal care and communication (the non-psychic kind 😄). For the past three years, I've volunteered with Guide Dogs of America, socializing and training puppies from 4 to 8 weeks old. This work has deepened my understanding of dog behavior, development, and trust-building from the very earliest stages of life. Cats hold a special place in my heart too. Years of living with them taught me how to read feline body language, respect their independence, and create a calm space where they can be comfortable. Friends and family turn to me as their go-to sitter, and I bring that same dependable, loving care to every animal I meet. I come to your home, keeping your pet in their own familiar environment so they stay relaxed, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away.

Since I provide in-home sitting, your pet stays in their own familiar environment the entire time. I follow your established routines: feeding schedules, walk times, sleep spots, and any special instructions you leave. I treat every home with respect and keep safety a top priority, making sure gates, doors, and any pet-proofing measures stay in place throughout my visit. Your pet's comfort and security always come first.

Kathryn is s dog whisperer. She used to be my dog sitter for my old dog Truffles (RIP) who had lots of trauma from his previous … but within one short week he was obsessed with Kathryn. He didn’t really open up to anyone else, but myself and her. She was basically his second mom. and now that I have a new dog with a completely different personality she’s obsessed with her as well. She has that magical spirit that I think all dogs just naturally trust in love plus she literally volunteers for the Guide dogs of America so she has actual behavioral training for the best behaved guide dogs on the planet. She’s also incredibly easy to get along with as a fellow human so highly recommend her if you’re looking for an easy-going kind and reliable dog sitter.

Schedule
As a yoga and piano teacher, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I have two dedicated teaching days where my availability is limited, but the rest of the week I have generous windows of free time- perfect for popping in, spending quality time with your pet, and making sure they feel loved.
