I'm a teacher, so from August to June I'm typically at work from 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday. I'm happy to board, but be aware that dogs will be unsupervised during the day. Mine will be crated and I'm happy to crate yours or leave them out with limited access within the house. On the weekends and on school breaks, I may go out for a few hours here and there, during which dogs can either be crated or left out, whichever you prefer.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard and my 2 small dogs love to play inside and outside the house, but we're also happy to hang out on the couch for doggy cuddles. I'm happy to meet any care needs your dog has while staying with me!

Information Kathryn W. would like to know about your pet

It's helpful to know a little about your dog's schedule (walk, eating, etc.) and how your dog is with other dogs. Mine bark at everything that moves at first, but get accustomed to other dogs and people after a few minutes.

A typical day

We'll cater our activities to your dog. If it's okay with you, we can walk on the beach or go hike at Calvert Cliffs State Park or the American Chestnut Land Trust (always leashed). If your dog prefers a more relaxed agenda, we can play with toys in the house or yard, walk in the neighborhood, hang out on the couch or the deck.

Pet care experience

I've been offering boarding services through Rover for over a year now and have also housesat and boarded for friends and family. I helped with my sister's dogs at times over the last decade and currently have my own 2 dogs (3 & 4 year old Maltese mixes) at home.

Always a wonderful experience with Kathryn, she’ll forever be our fur child’s sitter! Great communication…we always enjoy getting the cutest pics and she’s great with scheduling, even last minute.

This was our pup’s second stay with Kathryn and she was absolutely amazing both times. She was very flexible and even saved us with a last minute booking for the holidays. She continuously gave us updates and the cutest photos! Bruno loves spending time with Kathryn and will definitely continue to be our go-to when our little fella can’t tag along for trips.
