I work remotely, which means I would love to get out of the house and off my computer! :) It also means that I can be flexible to the amount of relaxation or exercise your pet needs. If boarding, I live close to a bike path, so there would be lots of walking opportunities throughout the day. My schedule is pretty flexible since I own my small business, so I am happy to discuss times that work best for everyone.

I'm happy to be as transparent as I can throughout a stay! Whether sending pictures and videos or keeping you up to date however long you need. If staying in your home, I'm very mindful about keeping things tidy. I traveled and stayed in many different types of spaces as a digital nomad for two years, so I'm used to respecting the rules of each space while asking questions if needed.

If they require any medication, I would like to see how you administer it so I can accurately repeat the process! It's also helpful to know if they have issues with more than one person in a home, as I live with my partner and want to make sure your dog is comfortable in the house.
A typical day
I live right near a bike path and have close access to downtown, so we could always go for some nice strolls in the area! I also have a very small backyard which could be great for small dogs who want to play a quick game or use the restroom in the event of extreme cold weather preventing from a longer walk.

Pet care experience
I serve as a small business owner in the animation industry, having been a character animator in video games for over a decade. I always embrace new opportunities through a lens of creative play, which I know pets are the absolute best at! My goal is to make sure your little one has all the fun and zoomies they need for the day, or meet them where they are at if they are having a relaxing day. I have watched pets most recently through Trusted Housesitters as I traveled for a few years. After meeting so many wonderful fur babies, I'm feeling ready to help out at home and provide whatever care you're looking for. I have more experience with mid-late aged dogs, and have administered medication to senior dogs. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, and look forward to meeting your pal!

Kathryn is a fantastic cat sitter. She is very responsible and communicative. She took great care of the cats and was attentive to the cats' individual needs. She was very conscientious about monitoring my cat who was having a health issue. She was also able to win over my other cat who does not tend to like strangers, which is no small feat. She is clearly caring, compassionate and attuned to cats' needs. She left the house in perfect condition. She demonstrated excellent problem-solving when there was a problem getting into my place. I can't recommend her highly enough!
