FULLY INSURED WITH PROTECTIVITY INSURANCE I have a fenced garden with a four way protective gate system and two small dogs of my own that loves company so your dog will never be without a furry friend to play with and socialise. I can crate if needed or keep within an enclosed area when not supervised. Most of the time they will have free reign of the house and are permitted on the furniture if that is something your dog is used to. After every booking the house is cleaned top to bottom with disinfectant and flea spray and all toys/blankets and bedding washed. Once a month I then bring in a professional cleaning service to give the house a thorough deep clean to ensure everything is sterilized to protect against germs, spores and viruses as best I can. In the summer I provide a paddling pool in the garden to help keep them cool and for dogs more susceptible to heat, I also provide a fan and ice packs under towels on their beds

I will supply you with a short questionnaire to fill out so I know the important information as well as your dogs eating habits, likes and dislikes, when they like to wake up or go to bed, what their favourite treats and toys are as well as how energetic and sociable they are to provide the best experience for your dog.
A typical day
I am lucky enough to live close to fields and becks as well as a walking distance of town so your dog will have plenty to keep them entertained as well as fun in the garden playing tug of war and playing with my small and very friendly dog.

I have over 14 years experience looking after small dogs. My sister breeds Dachshunds, Dobermans and Labradors so looking after dogs very much runs in the family. I don't just look after your dog but give it the love, care and attention it needs to feel safe, warm and loved in the absence of family. I have Cameras to monitor your dog so you are safe in the knowledge that they are never left unattended and there is always someone watching. All I need to know from your dog is the following: - Well house trained or semi house trained (extra for training) - If with me during the week, your dog should be OK to be left on their own temporarily - Friendly and OK with other dogs as I have 1 of my own - Pet Insurance (with proof) and can provide emergency contact details. If you do not have this then by booking with me you agree in the event of an emergency all associated Vet fees will be the sole responsibility of yourself to cover costs. - I will require you to fill out a short questionnaire so I can understand the dogs Behaviour and habits likes and dislikes prior to staying with me to offer the most comfortable, relaxed and happy experience possible. - I also ask that you bring your dogs food, bowls, poop bags and a lead plus any toys they would want to play with -I have a large dog bed (though you can bring your own if you like!), and pet gates installed. While with me your dog will receive the following: - Meals 2 times a day morning and evening or as per the dogs own feeding schedule - 3 x 25 Minutes walk a day - 1 x Mint Dentastix a day to keep those teeth fresh and pearly white - CCTV Cameras in operation to watch your dog at all times - Secure Gated Garden - Lunchtime playtime in the garden - Daily Brush - Doggy First Aid Kit for general issues such as ear/eye care, funny tummy, dry skin, cuts or scrapes, flea repellent, dog wipes, calming spray for the more anxious - Pamper and Bath prior to collection can be provided at an additional charge so your pooch is looking their best when it comes to home time - On long stays over 4 days your dogs bedding, toys and bowls will be cleaned and disinfected FOC to ensure they have been sterilized from potential germs, spores or viruses. We left our 18 month old Labradoodle, Jinx, with Kathryn for a couple of nights at the weekend. I was a little apprehensive as she'd never had a night away from us before and although she's maturing, she's suffered a bit of separation anxiety in the past. We had previously had Kathryn have her for the day in preparation, and that had gone well, but we were still a little worried that she might not settle. But Kathryn was so good with her and on dropping her off for the weekend it was clear that Jinx was delighted to see Kathryn again and didn't once look back as I was leaving! Kathryn kept us updated throughout the weekend but Jinx looked to be having the time of her life playing with Kathryn's very accommodating dog Alba, sleeping wherever she wanted, (as she is used to doing at home), and even being treated to doggy ice cream. It is honestly such a relief to find someone like Kathryn who is kind enough to provide somewhere that Jinx clearly feels at home. Highly recommended!
We booked Kathryn last minute and she was extremely accommodating, we couldn't have asked for better. Her communication was great up to and during the stay, we got sent updates and videos throughout our puppy's stay. Would 100% recommend Kathryn

Our Olive had a wonderful time with Kathryn and Alba! Kathryn did a superb job of making my partner and I feel relaxed and assured that Olive was having a great time whilst we were away. Would highly recommend to any looking to board their little ones in a loving home!
