My schedule is flexible as I currently work remotely so I have time to spend with your pet and show them the attention they need. I’m also an introvert and empath so I don’t spend long hours away from the pets I care for. I’d rather be playing or hanging out with animals any day of the week. I'm available for overnight pet sits, check ins as well as dog walking.

I take care of pets in client’s home with the utmost respect and care as possible. I take responsibility of the pet and home as if they were my own. If there are instructions left for the pet I will follow them to a ‘T.’ I also have the ability to intuitively pick up on the pets cues of being anxious, uncomfortable, happy, sad and any emotion in between. I'm very attentive on dog walks, always scanning the area for cars, other dogs, stray dogs, and people. Your dogs safety is my highest priority.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or characteristics that I'll need to pay attention to and know. I can pick up on most things but having knowledge ahead of time empowers me to empower your pet to have the best time possible while your at work or away.
A typical day
I love working with animals on all levels. I love stimulating their minds with games of hid and seek or going out for walks to allow them to get all their smells in to heading to the park. I'm also good sitting on the couch being a companion for them. I know how important a person's presence in body and mind is for animals so I will always be present for your pets.

I'm an animal communicator and energy healer, so if your animals are in need of communicating anything to you I can relay that information. I've been around all types of animals my whole life and have always had a special way of communicating with them. I have a very calming energy that is very healing for the animals I care for. I’ve taken care of dogs and have been a pet sitter for over 20 years now. I'm a go to sitter for my friends, family, co-workers as well as their friends, family and co-workers. I’m very attentive to the animals needs and wants and can pick up on things intuitively that your pets are going through or experiencing. I treat every animal I care for as if they are my own and take the responsibility of caring for animals very seriously. I also will get down and play with them and interact with them on a soul to soul level. I understand that your pets are part of your family and I treat them as such. I often get told I take care of people’s animals better than they do. I have a deep love for animals and I always share that love with the animals I care for. I'm well-versed in administrating medication, dog walking and grooming. I had a job as a pet groomer, so if your animal needs a bath and brush during our time together- you can add that to our time together. Please note, I don't do nail trims or coat trims- only bath and brush. I also have a special skill set of working with breeds that are picky eaters and have digestive issues such as Shih Tzus.

Katy was a LIFESAVER for us! We put her in an impossible situation with a 9 week old pup we had just adopted from a rescue. Unbeknownst to us, our pup had severe separation anxiety, and would mess almost instantly the second she was left alone. Katy stepped into this challenging scenario with grit, determination, and PATIENCE. We returned from our trip to find our pup calm, well-loved, and happy! Katy was incredibly responsible and understanding, and I can’t recommend her enough.
Kathryn has helped watch our dog Mushu over the years, many times. She is responsible and cares for our dog in the same fashion that we do. Ultimately, while watching our dog, she treats him like he is her own. Regular walks, play time, keeping up with our dogs general health and safety as well as making sure he has water and is fed all are reasons that we continue to use Kathryn as our dogs caregiver when we are away. I would highly recommend Kathryn to give the personal care and attention necessary for your pet.
Katy has been my go-to house & dog sitter for over two years now. I have two small Shih Tzus who have various dietary & health issues at any given time that can worsen quickly if we do not pay close attention to changes in behavior or physicality. She diligently administers any medications or treatments as required. I travel with full confidence and assurance that Katy watches closely and does not take lightly what seems insignificant. She makes extra effort to be sure that my dogs are not only comfortable but also enjoying their experience, making plans for walks or excursions to places that will give them a much-needed exercise or outlet for extra energy. She is attentive to any threats or distractions while they are away from the house & prioritizes safety. I make my dogs' food from scratch so Katy is great with the added steps of needing to defrost or prepare meals. Because I work from home, my dogs are used to having company most of the day and Katy is mindful to not leave them for longer than their limits. Additionally, Katy takes exceptional care of my home and my belongings, leaving a clean, orderly & well maintained household. I have an old house with little quirks and I appreciated Katy not being bothered by having to pay attention to these details. I appreciate that clear communication is a high priority for Katy and when she isn't clear, she doesn't hesitate to ask questions. Her attention to detail is so appreciated when needing to make decisions or give her direction. I have been so blessed to be able to entrust Katy with my two most valuable assets so that I can focus on being present wherever my travel takes me.
