Many dogs are drawn to me-they sense my calm, attentive energy. It’s not just about keeping them company; I enjoy connecting with them on a deeper level. I like to incorporate training into our time together if I can, whether it’s reinforcing good behaviors or teaching fun new tricks. It keeps their minds active and builds trust between us. I am delighted to house sit for your pets, but I too, have a dog that would need to attend. She is a very well behaved 22 pounds 6 year Klee-Kai Aussie mix.

I can tell Kathy really loves her work with animals. My dog feels the “loves” she provides and has always been cared for very well!
Kathryn has provided care for my middle-aged ‘Dachuahua’ (Chiweenie), Ginger, when we were in the same locale. She was good about meeting Ginger’s special eating habits, both mixture of dry and moist foods, as well as the time of feeding. My little Ginger lady does not play with toys or ‘play’ with other dogs but does enjoy interaction with her humans, and Kathryn was so good to take time for belly and back rubs. Their special routine would be a belly rub from Kathryn with Ginger responding with a ‘clapping’ motion with her front paws, saying ‘more please!!🐶’ I know Kathryn has worked with large breeds and surely has a healthy, cheerful yet ‘in charge’ manner with her canine friends. I heartily recommend her.

Schedule
I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your pet gets plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re surrounded by several dog parks and have plenty of space for walks and sniffing adventures. If your pet enjoys sunshine and fresh air, they may love lounging on my fenced patio. It’s secure, cozy, and fully visible from where I work, so I can always keep an eye on them.

I have a medium crate and a gate available for a safe designated space if needed. A secure tie-out on the patio can be set up if extra precautions are necessary to prevent fence jumping.

Watch all the activities going on outside through the window. Run around and play games in the house. Go outside to play fetch and get sniffs.
