My husband and I have 15+ years of experience with all breeds as we fostered close to 50 foster pups/dogs before having our 2 young boys. We have experience with nursing back to health some pretty sick animals, but lately we have simply enjoyed caring for the healthy pets of our friends and family.

Kathryn and family watched our Ricky for an extended weekend and he had a blast. He came home very tired and got lots of love from all of them including their lil’ retriever. Kathryn sent videos and updates and was easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!

Kathy and her family took great care of our dog. Tilly is a young high energy dog and got along great with their golden retriever Honey. We got lots of photo/video updates, which made us feel better while we missed our girl. Would definitely book again.

Schedule
I'm a Registered ICU RN 2-3 days a week and my husband is an insurance agent with the freedom to work from home whenever needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a safe privacy fence, live in Woodbury on a cul-de-sac, and take pride in our clean home. We have a sweet, 10 year old golden/lab girl to play with who is up to date on all vaccines and we would ask the same of any furry friends. Bonus: we have a couple young boys with boundless energy to play fetch with, walk, play house, and love up on your fur friend for hours.

A typical day
I love to play fetch in the yard safely with your dog and mine together. It wears them out! We can go for walks in our neighborhood and snuggle in the sun on the couch afterwards. Summertime is extra fun as we usually have a wading pool on the deck for the dogs to cool off in if they'd like!

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I'm happy to accommodate them as able. If there are concerns for chewing things, pottying in the home, or other safety concerns, we may use our crate when we run errands. We let them out immediately before and after returning from short errands. If your pet doesn't need to be crated and they get along fine with our Maizey, we would not crate them. Majority of our friends fur friends lounge on the couch, dog bed, or in the sunshine when we're gone. But If you prefer crating (or they are not potty trained or have chewing behaviors), we may ask for permission to crate. Feel free to bring yours from home if it's preferred. Also plan to bring food and dishes, (and any instructions on scoop size) supplements, meds, etc,and walking harness or gentle leaders if used. No need to bring toys, we have lots! I love to send updates and photos of your doggy hanging with us. Hope you don't mind. And in the summer months, we use a magic mesh screen door to our secure fenced in yard so they have free access to potty and fresh air and inside/outside as they please. We love to spend time in the backyard playing, with the dogs doing zoomies in the yard or taking a little wade in their dog pool. We look forward to meeting you and your sweet doggy(s). Come over for a meet and greet and we'll let them play in the yard and chat about your upcoming stay.
