Both my partner or myself work from home most days of the week, so dogs that board with us are rarely alone for more than an hour or so. I’m able to walk your pup as much as necessary, and they’ll get to hang out with our sweet dog Bensa all day!

I have a fenced in 1/4 acre yard, with lots of places to nap and a porch where your pup can overlook the goings-on of the neighborhood. Our house is large and comfortable and we’re in a safe quiet neighborhood near Condon Park, lots of areas for walks and fun!

No breed preferences, but I would like to know about temperament and energy level so I know what type of attention he/she will need. It is also good to know any special characteristics or needs.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks YES! As I mentioned in the other question I LOVE being outside and taking walks myself, and it's always nice to have a dog along. Most likely there will be several walks a day, or a visit to a park if your dog is sociable. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Likely on the floor, couch, or dog bed, unless he/she really can't stand not sleeping a bed--I am ok with this if the dog is nervous or anxious, and especially if the dog is relatively small. Time I'll spend with your dog As much as I can! I work from home much of the week, as does my partner. I love walks and generally like to take dog walks several times a day (if the dog wants to). I also love the dog park and taking little hikes and being outdoors in general, so the dogs I care for generally get a lot of activity! And they’ll have my dog Bensa to play with also.

Hi there, My name is Kat and have been living with and loving pets from day one! I am truly an animal lover (I work in wildlife biology) and really enjoy pampering pets while owners are away. I am attentive, gentle, and loving with animals, and have extensive dog sitting experience. I love to see happy pets and truly enjoy spending time with them! :) I am reliable and trustworthy and LOVE long dog walks. I live with my partner, young son, and our beloved dog on a fenced quarter acre in town grass valley. We love boarding dogs, and our pup Bensa adores having friends stay with her :) one of us is usually home during the day, so your pup will rarely be alone, and can spend their days here basking in the sunny yard next to our dog 😊 I hope to meet you and your pets soon! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog (and all animal) lover since day 1, welcomed home as a baby by my beautiful lab Greta. I have had pets my entire life, they are my favorite things in the world. I do not have pets of my own, but have lived with many pets throughout the years, volunteered at animal and wildlife refuges, and befriended people's pets all across the world (seriously). I PROMISE you, I will LOVE your pets!

I was excited to have a meet and greet with Kathryn and her family. Their house is a perfect getaway for any pup with a large fenced yard for play. Beau was well cared for and Kathryn was very flexible. I would highly recommend.
Kathryn was amazing. She took great care of my senior dog, Chubbs. She was very punctual sending updates with photos each day. She also was very flexible with my changing of schedule while I was out of town. I would 10/10 recommend her to watch your pet!
Kathryn was so amazing with Tito and went above and beyond for us! Her dog was friendly and it didn’t take long for Tito to settle in!
Kat was so accommodating to my little old gal, Molly. Very pleasant and just a great experience. Molly was well cared for.
