I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm.

It would be helpful to know your dog's schedule for walks, feeding, and any particular commands that you use throughout the day. I think maintaining consistency is helpful for dogs and offering them opportunities to be engaged with people, other dogs, and toys helps keep them happy.
A typical day
We will go for walks in the neighborhood and make sure there is enough time to stop and smell all the things along the way. My dog Conor is very social and enjoys having other dogs to play with and can match the energy of a variety of dogs well. They can play tug, chase one another, or sit and enjoy each other's company.

I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go.

Dogs are always happy to be cared for by a person like Kate. She is mindful of their needs and health, taking them on varied and quality walks as opposed to just around the same route. She has enclosed yards both front and back, allowing for off leash time and plenty of play. Her own dog, Connor, is a regular at doggie day care where he socializes very well with other dogs and is a playful yet calm companion. Staying with Kate and Connor is very much like a play date or slumber party. Dog owners can feel extremely confident about leaving their fur friend with a carer who is responsible, kind, and provides a safe and engaging environment.
Kate stepped in and cared for our dog Otto for a week when we had to travel unexpectedly out of state for a medical emergency. Otto loves to play and Kate made sure he had lots of interaction and engagement. She also gave me a heads up that I was almost out of food :) 2 thumbs up!! Annie C.
