I volunteered with the Humane Society for several years, including with their food aggression program for dogs. I have owned cats for most of my life and cared for our last cat through end-stage kidney failure, so I am comfortable administering medication, including fluids and injectables. I am used to a variety of temperaments, so hyper dogs and standoffish kitties don’t bother me! I have also worked with horses, hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, fish, reptiles, and birds.

Best pet sitter I’ve ever met! She was so nice, I have one temperamental cat who people often misunderstand and she showed her so much respect and kindness that I have not seen anyone do before. Will be rebooking with her again.
This was our first weekend with Kathryn and she was wonderful! Even got my shy kitty to come out and play. Bowls and litter were clean. Very happy with her service to my 2 kitties.

Kat is very dependable and takes great care of our two needy old kitties. She sends us a detailed note and their photos daily to assure us that they are doing well while we are away.

Schedule
I have a flexible daytime schedule, so I am available for morning, midday, and evening care. I have reliable transportation and access to Fort Meade, so I’m happy to work with military families!

I like to meet with clients before starting care to ensure that I understand any care details you would like me to know about your pet and your home. I am intentional about following pets’ prescribed diets, using the techniques/training strategies that you request, and being mindful of your home in the process.

I really enjoy finding something fun for each pet I take care of— whether that means toys, snuggles, or food enrichment (meal/treat mazes). I also love sending pictures so that you can check in on your pet!
