In my home, pets are treated like family. I don’t believe in isolating animals—pets are welcome on the couch, in the bed, and anywhere they feel comfortable. I believe cuddles, affection, and feeling safe are just as important as food and walks, so your pet will get plenty of love and attention while staying with us. They will be allowed to play in our large fence yard and pool. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I follow instructions exactly as requested. I respect your routines, rules, and preferences so your pet’s care stays consistent and stress-free. Whether that means crate time, specific feeding schedules, or house rules, I make sure everything is done the way you want.

Please know that we have two dogs that live in the house. One is 52 pounds and the other is 15 pounds. Both doodles. They do not have any special needs and get along great with other dogs. They love to have playmates over. They play great, but also chill out and take long naps.

Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I started training animals at the age of 16, which helped me learn how to understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Our home is full of love—we have two sweet doodles who are part of our family, and two children who absolutely adore animals and enjoy helping give them attention and care. Pets in our home are treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and playtime. We are kind, loving people who take pet care seriously. Whether your pet needs extra cuddles, structured care, or just a safe and happy place while you’re away, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for at all times.

I have a senior dog with special needs. Kate asked intelligent appropriate questions to evaluate if she and Matthew would be a good fit to ensure my dog was not a risk to himself, their home, or other dogs, and how to best meet his needs by understanding his behaviors. Once we agreed to a trial day care day. I was impressed with the care provided and my dog was very comfortable and happy being there. Kate sent photos and updates and was quickly responsive to my questions. Their dogs and teens are good companions to the client dogs, the house is dog-friendly in comfort and safety with all non-chewable temptations stowed away, and their spacious fenced yard provides stimulation and exercise. With a dog-friendly pool, they are hitting the pet resort level for my Boykin! They have earned our trust and respect as dog care providers, and we are grateful to have found them!
Kate is an exceptional dog sitter who truly goes above and beyond for her furry guests! Owning two of the sweetest pups herself, Kate brings genuine expertise and a natural knack for canine care to every stay. She's incredibly attentive—always ensuring dogs are fed on schedule, get plenty of fresh water, and receive the love and exercise they need—while her spacious, fully fenced yard offers endless room for zoomies, fetch, and playtime. What sets Kate apart is her rock-solid trustworthiness and responsibility; you can leave your dog with complete peace of mind knowing she's in safe, capable hands. Her wonderful family joins in the fun too, creating a warm, welcoming home that's perfect for adding more furry friends to the pack. We couldn't recommend her highly enough!
