So my visits with them can be as close to their normal schedule as possible, I'd love to know their usual routine and likes/dislikes. I know being away from their owner can be stressful, so my goal is to replicate what they are used to and do my best to help them feel comfortable in my presence.
A typical day
I plan to shower them with love and affection, whether that's play time, snuggles, a walk...whatever they need to feel happy and healthy, and you to feel a sense of peace and trust while you're away. The last thing you need on a trip is to feel stressed about the safety and wellbeing of your pets. My goal is for both pet and owner to be happy!

I am an experienced pet owner and shelter volunteer and would be happy to care for your furbabies. I believe our pets are our family and treat them as such :) *My current drop-in rates have temporarily increased by $5 to account for the current increase in gas prices. Thanks for your understanding! As a Rover user myself, I know how important it is to feel comfortable while you're away from them. You can expect punctual visits, detailed updates, and prompt communication from me. For house-sitting, I will be at your home with your pet for the majority of the day. Bringing in mail/packages, trash, light cleaning, watering plants, etc...house-sitting goes beyond just taking care of your pet. It includes making sure you return to a secure, clean home 😊. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently live with my two rescue cats, Tuna & Tater Tot. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages/sizes and administering meds when needed. Please feel free to message me to schedule an initial meet & greet. I'd love to meet you and your pet to ensure it is a good fit for all!

Kathryn is great with our dog Kirby! She always sends pictures as well as updates as to how the day went. She goes the extra mile to make sure Kirby is happy and we are comfortable knowing he is well taken care of. She leaves the house cleaner than when she got there, and is very flexible when our plans and timing changes. We love her and highly recommend her, especially to families and dogs that don't do great with separation.
Kate is just wonderful! Our puppy and home were perfect when we got back from our trip. I highly recommend Kate and will definitely use her again! We got updates and pictures twice a day! Thank you Kate for making our vacation a joy.
Kate is wonderful! Five stars is not nearly enough! She formed such a close bond with our pooch and took wonderful care of her and our house. She sends thorough and frequent updates (with pics and video). She kept our pup on her regular schedule for meals, walks, play time, snacks, etc. We didn't worry about a thing with Kate taking care of our girl and our house. We returned from our trip with the house in better shape than when we left. We give her the highest possible recommendation and look forward to having Kate over again soon.
