Heart open to fur babies everywhere
8 year ago, I expanded my family and adopted two beautiful dogs, Bear and Leia! They have been my rocks and best friends for nearly a decade. We’ve moved across country together, and even started doing River together years ago! A few years ago, my sweet Bear got sick, and he passed away at the age of 5. Even though Leia and I desperately miss his physical presence, he has found a way to be with us all of the time. I decided to do Rover again, and have so much love to offer your fur child. I know what it’s like to love them so much, I am very seasoned in animals that have medicines, injections, need a bit of extra attention, or are a bit older. My dogs are my whole life, and I promise I’ll treat your animals the same way that you would! (But I give more treats I bet!!) I work from home and do not need to be away from your pet for an extended period of time, unless for a home stay I will need to sometimes go check on mine! If your pup(s) is/are friendly, I’m always more than happy to bring sweet Leia. As she’s getting a bit older now, she’s pretty lazy and just likes hanging out cohabitating with other dogs, but still loves making new friends as always! All we need to know is: is your pet good with other pets? is your pet crate trained? what is their daily schedule like so we can help follow it!

Kathryn took amazing care of our fur baby while we were away on an extended vacation. She sent us detailed updates with photos. We had not been away from our little guy for that long before which we were nervous about, but we knew he was getting great care from Kathryn. We will definitely reach out again for future getaways!

Awesome sitter, she took my dog to the park and on long walks daily, sent a ton of pictures and let me know when he was anxious during storms. Will definitely leave him with her again!

I currently work from home, and am home all day long! I do not have to leave the house for work, and can do everything I need from the comfort of my home, or yours! I love to spend time with my dog all day, and will treat your pets the same way!

Safety, trust & environment
When I care for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I provide a cozy space with plenty of toys, fresh water, and regular potty breaks. I have a large fenced in back yard that they can run in. I keep to their normal feeding schedule, offer walks and playtime, and give lots of attention and affection. I treat them as if they were my own, with a balance of structure and fun to make sure they feel comfortable outside of their home! When I care for pets in a client’s home, I respect the pet’s usual routine and environment. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, exercise, medication, and house rules. I make sure the pet feels secure by keeping to their familiar schedule, and I keep the home tidy and cared for while I’m there. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe while you are away whether it's for business, for vacation, for whatever!

A typical day
We love to walk around the neighborhoods of Golden, Denver, Arvada, etc. I am more than willing to help integrate myself into YOUR dogs schedule and preferred schedule and structure. My dogs have always been picky and like to be demanding, therefore I expect nothing less from our furry friends!
