Right now due to my father’s health, I resigned from corporate and have made the decision to care for him. Initially, I took a leave of absence. Prior to these current issues, I always took my girls ( Lucy & Deja ) up to spend weekends all together anyway. Since my mom passed 3 years ago that routine was in place. I am available to be of service to my fellow animal parents and ensure you that I come with a lot of love and respect for your babies. 🌼

I currently am living in a condo with my dogs Lucy and Deja. They get long walks and playtime with their friends in the neighborhood. We all sleep together and I have a gaggle of cats/kittens (from a feral pregnant stray) I took in. When I had my house of 30 years, we had a fenced yard and everyone I know calls me when they have animal “issues”. I have been contacted through work internal team chats to go help the crow that flew into a window (at work). I have carriers and necessary supplies to help in these situations. That crow went immediately to Blue Pearl ( who will take in anything and help save it, humanely euthanize it, or then send to wildlife rehabilitation centers. I can care for all animals and want to be there for your pets.

Dogs that are over 20lbs that are to be cared for, please book as “Dog Walk”. I will be walking your dog and providing them time outside and exercising them. This is not a “Drop In”. Drop Ins are for cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and small dogs, etc… Any dog left alone unless very small needs to be walked during my caring for them. Please let me know if you have any special instructions for a particular visit. I prefer to meet people and meet their fur babies before I would take a job. It is important to learn about where things are, and to be sure there is a good energy between all of us. I am happy to consult prior to any booking, so please feel free to reach out to me.
A typical day
I love to get out into the sunshine and let the dogs lead me. Walking is not about just going to the bathroom. It is an enrichment activity. I allow my dogs to sniff and lead the way! Obviously I have different routes and we visit with human friends as well as other dogs. Throwing a toy and playing catch in a fenced in area or dog park is always a great way to have fun too. Bird and squirrel watching also is part of outings. I always pick up after the dogs so as to not spread disease 🦠 and have other pals step in it. 🥰

My personal review is both for Rover and Kathryn. Rover: This was my first time trying your service. I personally am not comfortable without meeting the Sitter in person prior to allowing them in my residence and trusting them with my loved fur child but I gave it a shot. Still out of my comfort zone. Kathryn: Did do the job required but did not communicate enough with me for my comfort, there was no time stamp on any photos or visits and did not tell me in advance about schedule changes. She had very good ratings on Rover just not the right sitter for me. Thank you.
Bashful and Dawn Bailey just love Kathryn! They enjoyed each visit and can't wait for her to come back to play with them again.
