I have dog sat for various different families since being in college. Growing up my family lived on a small hobby farm as well and therefore I am accustomed to many different animals and their needs. I enjoy the routine and exercise caring for dogs requires and I hope I can help make your travels less stressful knowing your dogs are in good hands!

I am not offering services in my own home. I have a clear understanding of leave things how they were before I got to the house. For example, if I’m staying the weekend I leave with dishes cleaned, bed stripped, and floor vacuumed. If I am walking the dog, I clean up any mess that may have been made with the walk as well. I am gentle, but firm when needed for the dogs. If your dog doesn’t do well with other dogs, I will try to take a low traffic area or follow what works best for you all so the dog has its routine. My goal with each service is to act similarly to you as owners so that the dog has a sense of routine and safety.

We love leaving our cat Bilbo in Kathryn's care. She is trustworthy and Bilbo feels so safe with her. She is so friendly and attentive.
Kate was amazing with our dogs. We were devastated when she moved out of state! She stayed in our home for weekends and sometimes longer taking care of two quirky dogs. Kate was so good with our boys that we trusted her to walk our pit rescue who is often unpredictable on his leash. She took great care of the house and the pets. I highly recommend Kate for your pet sitting needs.

Schedule
I am a full time special education teacher and therefore I am off during the summer months which frees me up to care for others pets during the week and weekends. During the school year, my weekends are free and allows for dog care.
