I was lucky to grow up in a dog-loving family. We had an high-energy English setter named Cooper growing up, and my parents currently have a sweet golden retriever Bodie who is 11. They also had another golden Louie who we lost unexpectedly this past summer ❤️🩹 We miss him a ton. I lived with my parents and helped raise Bodie and Louie and now have a 6-month old golden of my own Sonny! (Can you tell we love a golden retriever?) Our pups have given me great experience caring for high energy dogs as well as calm ones. As a dog walker I will make sure your pup gets exercise and is taken care of when we get back home. Nothing is more important to me than making sure your fur babies get the love and care they deserve. I also have had experience house and dog sitting for families when they are on vacation. I will make sure your pets have ample time to roam around, as well as guarantee that your home is clean and taken care of when you are out of town on weekends.

Katey is an amazing dog sitter! She has watched our dogs, Kilo and Lola, on multiple extended trips, and we couldn’t feel more comfortable leaving them in her care. Katy is an incredibly sweet pet sitter. She really loves on the animals and makes sure that all their needs are met and that the pet parent is informed of everything that’s going on. I’ve had her watch both cats and dogs and both seem to love her. I’d highly recommend her!
Katey is a wonderful pet sitter! She has stayed and cared for our two dogs multiple times. She is very responsible, communicative and trustworthy. I never have to worry about being away from home. Katey has cared for our dogs a number of times. She is trustworthy to stay in your home and very caring of your pets. She genuinely loves animals and does a great job. We have 2 geriatric dogs that are rather needy so I have not been comfortable with just anyone caring for them. Katey was great with them and when she was caring for them I never had to worry. I would highly recommend her to Rover!

Schedule
I currently work full time remotely, so I am available early mornings, lunch, or evenings and weekends. Depending on the circumstances I do have some flexibility to stop by and check on your pet midday.

I live in a two-story twin home with a good amount of living space for your pet to roam around, yet is still contained for their safety. I have a fenced in backyard and live in an area with great, safe walking trails! Along with that, I also have a 6-month old golden retriever puppy who loves to play with other dogs!

A typical day
Your pups will enjoy nice walks, playtime out in the yard, and some long games of fetch (if they’re so inclined)! We will also get in some great cuddle time and treats 😊 I am in the midst of training our puppy so I can work on anything you’d like as well if you need.

- I prefer dogs who are gentle and trained. My parents have a 64 lb golden retriever and he’s strong enough to pull me on a walk, so it makes me feel safer having a trained pup. We also have a 6-month old golden puppy, so your dogs must be good with other dogs and having a puppy around.
