Hello! My name is Kathryn Hurt. I am a second year MSU veterinary student. I graduated from Michigan State University with my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. I am a fear free certified professional. I have had a plethora of animal care experience. I love working with any animals (dogs, cats, etc) big or small! Please consider me as an option to take care of your pet. I love to do meet and greets to get to know you and your animals to make sure we’re a great match! Let me know when you need me! I can be available to stay during the week and on weekends. I would love to take care of your pet! With my clinic experience, I have learned how to properly handle and work with animals. I use a fear free approach and ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. If your pet is on a daily medication, that is no issue at all for me! I feel very comfortable taking care of any animal.

Kathryn was an amazing dog sitter! She took great care to try to calm our anxious in any kind of wind dog! She provided awesome photos and updates throughout her stay and super recommendations for next visit. We will for sure be using her again! Thank you so much for everything Kathryn :)
Kathryn has stayed with and lovingly cared for my 3 girls…. 2 Newfoundlands and a golden retriever. She immediately had the girls at ease and happy to see her. She is able to deal with our eating schedule and oral meds. I highly recommend Kathryn!
Kathryn watched our cats for a week and did a good job. She kept me updated on how they were doing and sent a few pictures. I would use her services again in the future.
We, our human, as well as pet family, love Kathryn! She stayed in our home and cared for our dog Penny, 2 cats and a leopard gecko for a week and did wonderful! It gave us peace of mind knowing she has lots of experience caring for animals and knew she would love and care for them as if they were her own! She sent pics and updates, took Penny on daily walks and let her hog the bed! The house was the same as when we left. Our pets seem unfazed by our being gone for a week, don't think they missed us all that much! We would definitely love to have her again and recommend her to anyone who needs pet care.
I would highly recommend Kathryn for anyone who needs a pet sitter! Kathryn was always prompt, sent wonderful pictures and updates about my pets, and had no problem watching my two cats and two bunnies with multiple daily check-ins. She's kind, caring, and thorough. She was always quick to let me know her availability, and was often available to help out when I reached out last minute to add in an extra visit. I felt so comfortable leaving for a weekend with her as a sitter, and I knew my pets would be well taken care of. If it were not for me moving away from the area, I'd still be using her for every visit. You can't go wrong with Kathryn as your pet sitter! My pets and I were so fortunate to meet her!
Kathryn is such a natural with animals! Throughout her life, she’s had the opportunity to care for many house pets, and there hasn’t been one that she met and didn’t like. In addition to being a caring animal companion, she is punctual, prompt, communicative, and reliable. In short, Kathryn is the idea animal caregiver, and is always my first choice when it comes to dogsitting and care services.
