Dog-Loving Family w/ Fenced Yard
Hi, I’m Kath. I work from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day and plenty of time outside. I take daily walks through the nearby forest and down to the beach — great options for dogs who enjoy being out in nature. We have a fully fenced yard, a friendly older dog who gets along well with others, and two kids (10 and 12) who are respectful of dogs and give them space when needed. Whether your dog prefers playing, lounging, or getting out for a good walk, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home. Our dog Ollie is not left in a daycare setting very often. Kathryn was very patient with him, giving him extra attention to calm him down. She took Ollie and her dog Carl for two long walks and Ollie got better as the day went on. She was great at communicating with us. We’d highly recommend her for her care!

Kathryn is a true animal lover through and through. I could not have asked for better for my older dog. I was stocked to have my dog to spend the day with her family. She did tons of nature walks! I would recommend her.
5 stars from Dixie! Kathryn was easy to communicate with, considerate of Dixie's needs, and shared photos/updates during the day. She had a great time hanging out with Carl and walking around the neighborhood. It sounds like he was a great influence on our socially unsure dog. Dixie was at ease from the beginning in Kathryn's home- even though Dix was happy to see me when I picked her up she wasn't in a rush to leave. Now she's crashed on her bed, a sure indication of the fun she had.
Hi, I can highly recommend Kathryn as a dog sitter. She was very patient and affectionate when looking after my mixed breed dog (now sadly deceased), and her own dog is the sweetest dog I've ever met, I've never seen him react aggressively towards either people or other animals. He'd be a great role model for someone else's dog, that's for sure.

Schedule
I work from home and take breaks to walk my dog, so pet care fits naturally into my day. Walks, playtime, and company are all part of our regular daily routine.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with regular walks, outdoor play in a fenced yard, and plenty of attention. I follow each pet’s routine closely. I keep water fresh, monitor behaviour, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure throughout their stay.

A typical day
I'll be taking the dogs to both the forest and the beach every day. Both are a close walk from my house. The forest walk is up a big hill so good exercise for dogs and humans!
