If want to know how your pet(s) is doing (especially if you have to be away for long stretches of time), I can put your heart at ease by communicating with you frequently. I will text photos of your pet to you during the day/night to let you know that I just started/finished a drop-in/walk with your pet or even call you, so your pet can hear your voice on the phone.

▫️ Provide pet(s) with food/fresh water ▫️ Administer medication to pet(s) according to the instructions provided by pet owners ▫️ Clean out litter boxes ▫️ Exercise with pet(s), which includes taking dog(s) out for regular walks ▫️ Groom pet(s), which include bathing them, cleaning out their ears, brushing their teeth and coats, and trimming their nails (if requested) ▫️ Provide regular updates to pet owners, which include communicating with them through text as well as sending videos and photos ▫️ Promptly notifying pet owners of pet illnesses or injuries that may occur ▫️ Accompany pet(s) to the veterinary for check-ups or vaccinations

My pet care journey began in Virginia when my eldest daughter and I started pet sitting for dogs and birds while she was in middle school. We had so much fun bonding over our love for animals, and it became a special experience for both of us. That same love is what inspired Santa to bring Buddy, our dachshund, into our lives—and he’s been filling our hearts with joy ever since. Buddy just turned 18 years old and is truly part of our family. I also care for my second daughter’s two cats whenever she travels. She’s a registered Rover pet care sitter, and watching her inspired me to get involved in my own neighborhood. Now, I’m excited to offer pet care services locally and bring the same love and attention to other people’s pets as I do for my own.

We appreciated Kathryn's consistent engagement with our cats for the 8 days she checked in on our cats. She was always on time, fed them as we asked, and cleaned up things. But the best part was seeing her pics with them on each visit. They seemed very happy and were even waiting at the door when she arrived. We look forward to booking Kathryn again in the future.

I would highly recommend Kathryn to care for your pets. She tended to our Umbrella Cockatoo while we were traveling. She was punctual, followed instructions to a tee, sent photos to reassure us, and was pleasant to work with.
