Grandma Happy loves all furbabies!
I have raised and taken care of animals my whole life. I have had dogs from only weeks old to being with them in their last senior moments. I understand that dogs are members of the family and that they bring joy, entertainment and love. I was with the pet therapy program at a children's hospital for 10 years and know how much a dog and their love can affect the humans they come in contact with positively.

First, I never take more then 1 families pets at a time. I believe in quality over quantity. I want to make sure your furbabies are safe at all times so I will never have another families animals in my home at the same time. I am skilled and experienced with having cats and dogs together but only from the same family. I take the utmost care with anyone's pets as if they were my own. This includes making sure they are safe inside and outside the home, if necessary. When walking your dog, I avoid other people's dogs and don't allow "saying hello" as we can not predict how other people's animals will react. Whether catching all the smells or playing in the fenced dog run, your dog will be my entire focus. I want your babies to be happy, healthy and comfortable so you can know they are in good hands when you are away. I will of course send you pictures and updates so you can feel assured they are happy and healthy.

Oh my! What a great dog sitter, and wonderful person! Kathryn took amazing care of our Pup Millie! She was Super committed to the care and communication during our trip. I totally 100% recommend Kathryn as a dog sitter! She really cares deeply for the pets in her care.
Kathryn was amazing with our senior Golden over the Holiday break. She even took the initiative to research and purchase some doggie socks and hot spot medicine for a hot spot on her foot we have been trying to get rid of. Our neighbor even ran into Kathryn on a walk and couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful she was and wanted her number for her pups. I’m so thankful I found someone I trust and feel so comfortable with in my home with my Daisy. Will definitely book her again for our next trip!
Kathryn was so sweet and accommodating! Our dog, Cocoa, took to her right away (and Cocoa doesn't like most strangers)! Kathryn is super-responsive, and though we only had one doggie day care day with her, I can see why she has so many repeat clients. We would definitely use Kathryn again if we are ever in the Escondido area!
Kathryn took great care of our fur babies when we went on an extended vacation. She sent cute photos and updates. Great communication prior and during boarding. We felt entirely secure that our pups were getting the best care while we were away. I’ll 100% board my pups with Kathryn again!
Kathryn was wonderful with my anxious terrier named Phoebe. I received consistent updates with pictures and reports. Phoebe generally takes a while to warm up to new people, but she felt at ease with Kathryn quickly. I also appreciated that Kathryn could spend a lot of time at home with Phoebe, since she's used to having her human with her much of the time. I really appreciate Kathryn's care for my place and affection for Phoebe!

Programa
I am retired and home most of the day, all days. I have a few volunteer commitments but they only take me away for a few hours at a time. I am home to be able to love, comfort and care for your furbabies all the rest of the day and night. I do not invite family or friends over when I have your baby so that there is no risk of any external anxiety or overwhelming for your pet.
