Kathryn was very friendly and patient with both Myself and my dog. She was respectful of my dog's needs while on their walk.

A pet-parent who gets it.

There are two things I cherish in my life––a healthy lifestyle balanced with positive energy and sincerity, and the simple yet infectious love of animals. I enjoy keeping in shape and am quite athletic, so active, energetic dogs tend to be a better fit for my overall lifestyle, but I’m open to all breeds, sizes, ages, and activity levels. Maybe I’m just an endorphin junkie––all I seem to need is exercise ...

What Kathryn would like to know about your dog

As someone who values fitness, it’s all in the details! No bit of information is too small. I’d want a complete list of your pup’s diet, walking hours, habits, triggers, medications, likes/dislikes, where s/he enjoys being petted. Whatever you can tell me in advance will better prepare me for being the best surrogate dog parent! If you’re concerned about all my animals, I’m more than happy to arrange a meet and greet. Being an athlete also means keeping records and being very organized, so I will send updates via photos, text, or videos (whatever you prefer) on a regular basis. I want to offer complete peace of mind while your beloved pet is under my supervision and care.

When Kathryn watches your pet

I know St. Paul and the surrounding areas really well, including all the great dog parks. I love going to a big grassy field to throw around a frisbee or ball or play a friendly game of tug of war. Of course we’ll go on our regular brisk walk around the neighborhood early in the morning to get our blood pumping and get our energy level up for the day ahead. I’m never gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time for work, plus your pup will have the company of my furry friends. After an afternoon run, we will have a more leisurely, meandering walk before we settle into the evening. Again, it’s all about balance to a healthy lifestyle, so after a day of exercise and play, we’ll cuddle and rest to recharge.
I also realize every pup has his or her physical limits, and I am very aware of reading their bodies, so I will constantly adapt our activities accordingly.
