Your pet is king or queen when they stay with us. We only host one family at a time so we can shower attention and affection on them. My husband Doug and I have had pets all of our lives. We lost our last fur baby, Ditto, right before the pandemic. She was 17. We love to take dog walks, play with your pet (if they are active) and of course, make sure your fur baby(s) are in a safe and caring environment. Doug and I have been taking care of pets on Rover for the last 4 years. Unfortunately, Doug passed away in October 2025. I have decided to continue caring for pets in our home. Since it is just me I will only take one dog over 40 pounds at a time and it will depend on the age and energy of the dog. I am mostly retired, occasionally doing some work from home. I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby. And lots of energy for taking walks. Dogs must be housebroken fully. No we-we pads. I live in Schertz Texas and want to continue caring for fur babies in our new home. Our backyard is fenced and secure. I can take dogs larger than 40 pounds but are limited to certain breeds that we feel we can handle . Most of the doodles and poodles fall into this catagory as their nature is pretty calm.

Schedule
I am home most of the time. I play pickleball for a couple of hours 3 times a week. I do all of my work from home and work my own schedule. We have plenty of time for play and walks.

I do not have any pets at this time. I limit to 2 pets at one time from the same family. Your pet becomes family.
A typical day
I like to keep your dog as active as they are able to be. For active dogs, we will go on walks and play in the back yard We will play games, frisbee, hide and go seek, chasing balls, etc. There will also be ample time to just relax and cuddle.
