As I mentioned earlier, I treat my dog like my own child. I consider the facts that she can't speak for herself or vocalize her concerns, pains, etc. I know that when I have someone watching my pet, I want to ensure that they can read her cues and handle a emergent situation. I'm prepared to be that person you pet finds comfort in when you're away.
