Premium Peace of Mind Care

I have grown up with dogs my entire life so I am very comfortable around animals. I currently have an Australian Shepard and Boxer, I treat them both like my kids. I hope to be able to help take care of your fur-child when you are not able to. I understand what it is like to trust someone with your dog and I only hope that I can provide you with the peace of mind of knowing your pet is being well taken care of while you are gone. I am a full time business professional that works from home- depending on your need, I can make drop-in visits to let your dog out to go potty, for a walk or to the dog park. I love all dogs, big or small. I will play fetch and take your doggo on walks and cuddle them and give them lots of TLC! Not only will your pet's receive the best care when they are with me, your home will as well. I am happy to run errands, water plants, do light laundry, tidy-up and ensure the safety and security of your home while you are away- complete peace of mind.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities while caring for them in your home. I understand that every household has its own structure and expectations, and I am committed to respecting and maintaining the rules and routines you have established for your pets. My own dogs sleep in their beds or crates and are not allowed on furniture, so I am very familiar with maintaining boundaries and structure. I will always follow the rules you have in place for your pet, whether that includes crate training, furniture rules, feeding schedules, or specific potty routines. I strongly believe that consistency helps pets feel secure, especially when their owners are away. Because of this, I make it a priority to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including their sleep schedule, feeding times, exercise habits, and any training expectations you have in place.

Kat was a great cat sitter for my cat who recently was put on a slew of medications. She handled her complicated medication schedule very well. She took great care of my cat and of my home, and was very responsive to any communications I sent.

Kathryn was terrific with my 2 young and energetic Aussies. When she initially came to meet us, she engaged with the pups and they took to her immediately. While I was away, she was a great communicator and I knew the dogs were getting good care, getting all the exercise they needed, and were having lots of fun. Kathryn was especially caring for one of the pups who was experiencing some stomach upset due to puppy mischief so I feel feel doubly appreciative. Kathryn was a delight and she has our thumbs and paws up vote of confidence!

When it comes to having someone care for your pets, trust is what matters most. Kathryn is the most respectful, loyal, and hard working person I know. She also has a genuine love for animals that runs deep, so you know she will treat them as if they were her own. I couldnt recommend Kathryn enough for a position like this.

Kathryn has been around pets her entire life. Her love for animals is unmatched. She currently owns her "child" Teddy, a miniature Australian Shepard. I am pretty sure there are more pictures of Teddy than there are of Kathryn as a child. You could find no one that will care for your pet more than Kathryn will.

I have left my dog with Kathryn before and had no issues. Having a dog herself, she was great with him. Very respectful of my wishes and guidelines as well. She is a good person and has a huge heart for dogs.

Schedule

I have two dogs of my own- We live in an apartment so I am accustomed to taking my dogs out and walking them multiple times as well as providing enrichments for them so they do not get bored. My hope is to provide that same care to your fur-child as well. When I am away, my boyfriend whom I live with will take care of our dogs so I can provide your fur-child with the 1-1 attention they deserve.

It's helpful to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before your trip. This can include things like feeding schedules, sleep habits, quirky behaviors, medications or supplements and their timing, veterinary contact information, and temperament in different situations (for example, loving people but disliking the mail carrier or doorbell). It’s also helpful to know about any anxieties or triggers, as well as your pet’s favorite toys, activities, or enrichment. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the easier it is to keep their routine consistent and their environment stress-free while you’re away.
