I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for daytime visits, typically between 7 am - 5 pm. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, a walk, playtime, or just some extra love and attention, I'm eager to help!

A typical day
I tailor every visit to your pet's unique needs—whether that means a relaxing stroll through the neighborhood, engaging with puzzle toys, playing fetch in the yard, or simply curling up on the couch for some extra cuddles. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. In extreme heat/cold or severe weather, I will modify visits to indoor activities.

Pet care experience
My passion is caring for animals while strengthening the bond they share with their owners. I started fostering animals at 11 years old, and since then I've helped more than 50 cats and dogs find the loving homes they deserve. My experience includes working as a kennel attendant, pet care professional, and in several animal shelters, giving me the confidence to care for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!

Katherine is one of the best employees I’ve had in 30 plus years of being a veterinarian. She worked in my kennel and gave excellent care to all the dogs and cats. She is certainly hard working and gets things done. She knows animals, she loves them and it shows…they love her right back. I asked Katherine to do some home sitting for my own pets and she does a great job. She spends time with them, both actively and just hanging out with them. Katherine is conscientious, smart, empathetic, and VERY reliable! She’s wonderful.
Katie is absolutely amazing! Our dog, June, loved every minute she spent with her. Katie came to our home twice a week while my husband and I were at work, and we always had complete peace of mind knowing June was in such caring and capable hands. Katie was incredibly dependable and made sure June got plenty of playtime, affection, and long walks. It was clear how much she genuinely cared for her. When Katie told us she was moving and would no longer be able to care for June, we were truly sad to see her go. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and wonderful with animals, you can’t go wrong with Katie. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
Katie is incredible with animals. She has years of experience through volunteer and paid work as well as her own family pets. Her three pets thrive under her care. She has a huge heart for animals and will care for yours like her own!
I've known Katie my entire life, and I can say without hesitation that she's the most genuine animal lover I know. She doesn't just take care of pets, she treats them like family, giving them the same attention and affection you'd give a child! She has watched my dogs many times when I lived in Indiana. She's incredibly responsible and communicates perfectly. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pets like their own, I can't recommend Katie enough. Your pets will be safe, loved, and genuinely happy in her care. She is great!
