My name is Katie. I love baseball, nature, music, and fixing things!.. But my true passion is spending time with dogs and any other animal, spoiling them with the love and attention they deserve. I have cared for many different breeds of dogs over the duration of my career as a sitter, ranging anywhere from chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have recently gained experience with the feline kind as well, living in a house with four cats, a pitbull, and a bunch of bunnies! I am experienced with dogs ranging from puppies to elderly dogs that require specific styles of care. I can follow strict diet regimens, provide medications (when necessary), pick up pet waste, keep the house tidy and secured, and make sure all pups feel comfortable and not lonely. I accommodate a range of temperaments in animals, like skittish, shy, boisterous, high-energy, anxious, playful, anti-social, etc. I'm skilled at being quick in and out of doors/gates with escape artists, being calm in stressful situations, and being patient with pups that just get too excited sometimes! I have had previous training from working at a doggy daycare with how to break up a dog fight correctly, obedience training, and basic grooming techniques. I will follow any rules or regimens provided by the pet parents. I love letting the fur babies sleep in the bed with me if that is allowed. I usually prefer to set up a meet and greet prior to any house sitting stays so I can get a good feel for the environment with the owner.

Kathryn took wonderful care of our home and dogs while we were gone! She was great about staying in touch and giving them tons of attention. She won over our older dog who is pretty shy and made sure the bird felt loved too. We really appreciated having her stay!
Katy was great! I came home to happy, relaxed pets (rough collie and two very feisty kittens), who had obviously got a lot of attention while I was away. She also took great care of my saltwater fish tank and my indoor and outdoor plants, and kept my house super clean. I got tons of updates and pics from her while away, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Katy, and will use her services again.
