I live in Sagle (East Bottle Bay) and work in Sandpoint as a Massage Therapist part time, which gives me some flexibility with location. My work shifts are typically 4- 4.5 hours 4 days per week, leaving plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care for your pets.

To provide the best possible care, it’s important for me to understand your pet’s daily routine, personality, health needs, and overall behavior. This includes any history of reactivity or aggression, and how they typically respond to other dogs and people while on walks. I also appreciate details such as feeding schedules, medications, favorite toys, exercise preferences, and anything else that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and understood in their environment. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can provide consistent, attentive, and personalized care tailored specifically to your pet’s needs.
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I tailor care to their personality, age, energy level, and usual routine. I’m an early riser, so mornings typically start with an early potty break/ outdoor time, followed by breakfast, fresh water, and any medications if needed. For dogs, I commit to two walks per day (morning & afternoon), plus play, attention and plenty of hang outs throughout the day. During a sit, I’m there with your pets for most of the day to keep things consistent, comfortable, and close to their normal routine. For cats, I provide attentive care that includes feeding, daily litter maintenance, play, and affection (on their terms 😉)

Alex was great. We have cameras that showed she played outside with the dogs a lot. She also sent pictures of the dogs. They looked very happy to spend time with her The house was neat and clean. She also watered my pots and hanging baskets. Which must of taken a bit of time because it was really hot while we were gone. We would definitely use her again and recommend her.
Alex did an amazing job caring for my animals while I was away for the weekend. I have 2 large adult dogs and a 3 month old puppy…and 17 chickens! She sent pics and updates during the day and took great care of them all. Her communication throughout was excellent and the dogs loved her at our first meet and greet. High recommended!
Alex was a great sitter for our pets. Our pets were well cared for. Alex is a tiddy house guest. She even left a light on for us when she knew it would be dark when we got home.
Fun, kind, dogs loved her. I felt really at ease having her in our home.
