I know pets have different personalities, needs, wants and there may be training you are working on and I always take this into account and handle your pet as you would.
A typical day
I ensure that high-energy dogs get plenty of exercise while I am with them including walking, tossing a ball and general play. Older animals would enjoy cuddling and petting and any needed help. When sitting for horses I am available to clean stalls, feed grain and feed multiple times daily as needed and can also administer care such as rewrap wounds. With 45 years of horse-riding experience, I am comfortable riding or lunging horses if needed.

Pet care experience
I have owned pets (dogs, cats, birds, horses, chickens) for my entire life. I got my first horse at 10 years old, and my parents own a horseback riding stable where I have helped care for healthy, sick and injured horses, dogs and cats for the past 45 years. I have pet sat as a teen and as a trusted neighbor more recently. I currently have a 15-year-old Pyrenees mix named Honey and daily care for 35 horses. I am calm in emergencies and very reliable. I am confident administering medicine and other pet care needs.
