Information Kathleen W. would like to know about your pet

If your pets need any special care, I have taken care of geriatric dogs and newborn puppies. My dog, Ringo, is elderly and needs medication bi-weekly. I am open to learning how you would like medication administered. I have experience and a background in Neuroscience, Medical Assistance, Nursing and phlebotomy.

A typical day

A typical day would first and foremost be your pets' needs. Everyone is different. From a newborn puppy to an elderly dog that needs medication twice a day, etc. Activities include walking, playing with their favorite toy or letting them sleep peacefully during naptime. Acknowledgement is a big factor for me as a pet owner; my pups love knowing I am around even when I am sending a quick e-mail or checking the home is secure. Fresh water, in this heat, is a priority. I do not allow my dogs table food. At the end of the day, taking care and being in the company of a furry friend is being present. Dogs are full of energy and love all I hope is to provide that temporary care while you are away.

Pet care experience

My very first birthday request, from what I recall, was a Dalmatian or a Great Dane. My favorite movie as a child (not shocking) 101 Dalmatians and my favorite cartoon Scooby-Doo. I have taken care of parrots, cats, dogs, ferrets, raccoons, fish; their personalities are infectious. I recently read, “Your Dog Is Your Mirror”, by Kevin Behan it resonated with me. I adapt to animals and crave to know more about their mentality and personality.

I recommend Kathleen to be a perfect pet sitter. Animals love her just as much as she loves them. She is so patient with them.
