I can’t recommend Katie enough as a dog sitter! She is responsible, caring, and truly loves animals. From the very beginning, Katie was reliable and communicative, always keeping me updated with messages and photos so I knew my dog was happy and well taken care of.
Kat was exceptional with our dog Wrigley while we were on vacation abroad. She treated him as if he were her own pet, providing the utmost care and attention. Communication was smooth and efficient throughout our time away. We wholeheartedly recommend Kat to anyone in need of a reliable house or pet sitter!
Meeting Kat for the first time was a wonderful experience. She has a friendly and outgoing personality, and our dog, Wrigley, warmed up to her instantly. We’re excited to have her take care of Wrigley and house-sit for us while we’re away on vacation.
Katie is a natural with pets! She has a calming, cheerful presence that even the most skittish of animals can sense. Just ask my tabby, who almost always hides when someone new comes over. Katie was able to coax her out, play with her, and have her cuddling and purring in minutes.

I am seeking to make this a 25-35 hrs/week gig with multiple clients. My availability is very flexible and open at this given time (June 2025). I commute between an apartment in downtown Hagerstown and St Mary's County (Wildewood) and care for my family's German shepherd (Freya) and teddy bear (Odin) about 1-2 days a month in W.V. Those dates are preplanned. I'm an early bird, up around 4:30-6 AM. I have a low maintenance mainecoon so she grazes all day and has plenty to do till I come home for my own kitty snuggles.

Safety, trust & environment
I can only care for your pets on their turf or if you allow it, to take them to public parks. Both of my residences do not allow additional boarding. I personally wouldn't mind, but, rules are rule. I'm very adaptable and would love to keep any routine you have with your pets. From nicknames, babytalk, several walks a day, a bath etc... Write down your desired routine for Fido/Whiskers and I'll do my best to keep them entertained and comfortable until you're back home.
Pets
A typical day
We will absolutely go for walks and explore various parks if you feel comfortable enough with your dogs sociability! We can run around and pick out the coolest sticks, or lounge with countless pets and snuggles watching Animal Planet if that's what they're into (more than likely a heaping dose of both!). Snacks (approved by you) treats, and specific times for walks are encouraged to keep your pets routine consistent.
