I love animals more than the select few humans in my life that I do love immensely. I had a doggo named Coconut who I got as a puppy and lived to be 17 years old. I potty trained and trained him on my own where he won a local park district dog competition. I currently have two very spoiled cats that are almost 10 and love them more than I can quantify. I have been told by my friends that (even from non cat people) "my cats are the only ones they actually love." I have experience off of Rover watching both cats (including kittens) and dogs. I absolutely love taking doggos for walks along the lake or wherever your preference is. I also truly love playing with cats. I don't just come over and feed them and do their litter. As a cat mom, I want to make sure they receive stimulation and feel like there is minimal change to their schedule. My main job is as a research scientist. I recently got my PhD from Northwestern and am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher down at University of Illinois Chicago working with patients in a Biomechanics Lab. However, I absolutely love watching pets and even going to animal shelters in my spare time. I promise I will treat (pun intended) your pet as my own and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

I highly recommend Kacey for all your dog sitting needs! Kacey helped me take care of my cattle dog Saki during my time living in Chicago, and she always went above and beyond to be communicative and to let me know how Saki was doing in real time! I never worried about my dog while under her care, and I am usually very anxious in regards to my dog's safety. Kacey is responsible, dependable, timely, fun-loving, and compassionate. Knowing Kacey for over 10 years I have no doubt that she will care for your pets as if they were her own. She loves her cats so much and makes sure they are healthy and happy. She would do whatever your pets need while under her care to keep them safe while you are away.
Kacey is one of the kindest humans on earth and I have no doubt she will treat your pet friends like her own. Every time I have left my home in Kacey’s hands while traveling I’ve felt 100% comfortable, she was always respective of my space and kept things clean and tidy. But what really makes Kacey stand out is how much she truly cares about animals, my dog Ellie absolutely loves her, and Kacey is great about keeping me updated with a ton of photos so I always know Ellie is okay. Cannot recommend Kacey enough for peace of mind so I can enjoy my time away and know Ellie is in the best hands possible!!
Kacey has cared for both of my new kittens soon after I adopted them. She did a wonderful job feeding them and giving them so much play time and attention. She sent me pictures and updates about how the visit went and it was nice to see and know how much she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them, too. I would trust her in my home and with my cats anytime!

Schedule
I work full time as a scientist, but I have a flexible schedule and work from home 2-3 days a week and am open on weekends. If you communicate, I can work to accommodate you and your pets needs.
