I grew up with cats, and have been taking care of others cats, dogs, turtles, chickens, and you name it since I was 10. With care ranging from giving my aging childhood cats shots, crushing up meds for my coworker’s senior dog, and even milking someone’s goats while they were out of town. Whatever your pet needs, I will take care of. And send a photo of you fur baby every day while I am at it.

At this time, I only offer house sitting, not boarding. I know it takes a lot of trust to welcome someone into your home and care for your pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll stick to your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away, keep your home clean and well cared for, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

Katie is a huge animal lover and an extremely empathetic, caring, and responsible person. She’s dedicated and diligent, gentle with all beings, from plants to animals to humans. My dog loves her. Your pets will be in great hands!
Katie has provided loving care to our two problem kitties who are litter box-challenged. She also provided daily injections to a diabetic kitty. Most importantly, Katie loves animals and provides love and care to pets as though they were her own. Katie is also a conscientious housekeeper. She will leave your home clean and tidy. I highly recommend Katie for animal and home care.

Schedule
I’m an elementary art teacher, so during the school year (beginning August 13) I’m typically at work from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you’re looking for care for your dog, I’d be happy to start the day with a morning walk before work and head straight back after school for another walk, playtime, and plenty of attention. On weekends and school breaks, my schedule is much more flexible.
