We have a fenced and very large yard for pups to play in and a great neighborhood to give long walks. We do have an older cat but he can be locked away and prefers to hide when other animals around.

Dogs must be good with children. We do have a cat that can be locked away but if you’re dog is particularly aggressive towards animals this will not be the best fit.
A typical day
We will definitely play with your doggo in the yard and if they are good on a leash we’d love to go on neighborhood walks or even hikes in the area.

Pet care experience
Two teachers and a 6-year-old are ready to love and take good care of your fur babies! We had to put down our pup a few years ago and miss him terribly. We love dogs and our six-year-old is excited to get the experience of taking care of a dog again 💜 We both teach at the local high school (about 5 minutes from our home). Typically, we leave around 7:15 and aren't back until 4:00 or later. I do have a plan period I could use in the middle of the day to go and let your pup out for a bit, but otherwise, dogs must be good with being at home for long hours, either in a crate or be house-trained to be a good fit for us. PLEASE no dogs that chew, pee in the house, etc. But we promise lots of love and yard time when we get home.

Kathleen & Ryan were excellent with both the care and communication before and during Blu’s stay. They were very understanding and flexible when adjusting drop-off and pick-up times due to my travel schedule, which I truly appreciated. They kept me updated constantly with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Blu was well cared for and comfortable with them. Their daughter was also so sweet and excited to help take care of Blu, and it was really heartwarming to see how much love and attention Blu received from the whole family. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for pet care, and whenever they are available and I need care for Blu again, I would absolutely leave her with them. Thank you all so much!
We’ve had wonderful experiences boarding our dog with Katie and Ryan. They are communicative, kind and willing to accommodate our dog’s medication schedule. We received regular updates and photos, and it’s clear our dog was happy and well-cared for in their care. Highly recommend!
No reservations whatsoever! I highly recommend Katie and Ryan to care for your pets. They are pet lovers, good with animals, caring, responsible and trustworthy. They have cared for my pets several times. It makes me feel comfortable when I travel knowing they are the ones caring for my extended pet family. I can tell when I return they were treated with loving care.
