I have experience as both a large and small animal veterinary technician, a degree in Animal Science and my most recent position was teaching high school animal science. I have taken care of a wide variety of species including reptiles, birds, dogs, cats, chinchillas, fish, horses, goats, sheep and more! I am attentive and understand the physical, mental and emotional needs of pets especially when their owners are away. I offer both short term and long term care and have covered up to six month deployments. Animals in my care are treated as if they were my own. I can take them hiking, swimming, and running as long as the owners are comfortable with it. I currently work part time as a nurse Monday through Friday. This schedule allows me to offer plenty of time with kids and pets around work hours. We are an active family with two fully vaccinated dogs who love when four legged friends come to stay. Our yard is LARGE and fully fenced. We have a dog door where pets can come and go as they please and also reside in a safe neighborhood that's great for walking.

I loved everything about her and her family. My dog has separation anxiety but she was perfectly happy with them. She let my dog be included in their activities and made her part of their family. I couldn’t be more appreciative of how amazing she was with my dog.

Schedule
I have a reasonable schedule and great family who help with pet care. I leave for work close to 7 and I am usually home by 3 in the afternoon. I have weekends off and enjoy being active outdoors, pets are welcome!

I provide care based on the pets needs. Some need more cuddling, while others need help getting their energy out. Interaction and activities are based on each pup or cat's individual needs.

A typical day
I share my love of the outdoors with my four legged friends. We will get out for a variety of walks, hikes, games in the yard and maybe some field trips if the dog travels well and owners are comfortable with it.
