I recently retired and very flexible weekday hours, but away many weekends. If in town, I can likely open times for weekend days as well. My hours during the day are also quite flexible currently.

It is important to know any current health concerns, length of walk or ability to run, socialization with other dogs and ability to play well with others at a dog park and ability to walk by other dogs without issue, typical commands known and responded to and general temperament.
A typical day
I take long walks in San Francisco neighborhoods, visit the parks, walk along the marina, presidio or hike on various trails in Marin or on Mt Tam or in Tahoe pending location.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have been enjoying caring for friends’ and family’s dogs while they travel for over 15 years. I was responsible for full time dog care up to 2 weeks including feeding, daily companionship when remote working and walking or hiking with dogs as well as overnight stays. Recently retired and expanding my dog walking/care to more pets.

My dog Jamie loves Kathleen as much as Kathleen loves him. He gets so excited to jump in her car because she is in it and he knows that means we are going to do something fun. Kathleen is very conscientious with him and I completely trust her with him.
