I currently work part-time as a massage therapist, and pet care fits very naturally into my lifestyle. Because massage therapy is a physically demanding job, caring for dogs and cats gives my body the balance and recovery time it needs while still allowing me to do work I genuinely enjoy. My schedule allows for flexibility, including staying overnight in clients’ homes when needed. I’m comfortable with early mornings, regular routines, and adapting to each household’s schedule. While there may occasionally be situations where I need to make small adjustments, overall I’m very available, reliable, and communicative.

At this time, I only offer care in clients’ homes. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow the “leave it better than you found it” rule. I clean up after myself and keep things orderly throughout my stay. Clear communication is important to me. If anything unexpected happens or something gets into something it shouldn’t, I’ll let you know right away so there are no surprises when you return. I’m very respectful of boundaries and privacy. I don’t wander into spaces that aren’t part of the pet’s care, and I follow any guidelines or house rules you set. Safety is also a top priority: when I’m not in the home with your pet, doors are locked and your space is kept secure. My goal is for you to come home to a calm, cared for pet and a home that feels just as safe and comfortable as when you left.

Personality. Is it excitable, loving, cuddly, independent, grumpy, curious, etc. There are usually a lot of questions about behavior (Eating, bathroom, play, social, etc). I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
I am attuned to the dogs needs at the time. If they need mental stimulation, then I will do a training session. If they need to feel more connected, then I'll take them somewhere new to get sniffs in. If they are in need to comfort, then I'll give nice long belly rubs.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets through Rover since 2017, and pet sitting has always been a steady, meaningful part of my life even when I’ve worked part-time in other fields. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs and cats, each with their own personalities, routines, and needs. I have experience with anxious dogs, fearful dogs, overly affectionate dogs, and everything in between. I’ve also navigated more serious situations, including dog bites and medical emergencies where a pet needed to be taken to the hospital. I stay calm, attentive, and responsible in high-stress moments, and I take safety very seriously. I’m very connected to animals and believe each pet deserves individualized care. I talk to them, pay attention to their cues, and adjust my approach based on what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I also love capturing candid photos when possible, so you can see your pet relaxed and happy while you’re away. I’m currently available for drop-ins. I’m happy to help during holidays or last-minute situations when something unexpected comes up and you need dependable care.
