I've known Kathleen for years, and she is one of the most reliable, caring, and patient people I know. She's a natural with dogs. Every pup she meets seems to instantly relax around her, from shy rescues to high-energy goofballs. She takes time to learn each dog's personality, routine, and quirks, and she always follows the owner's instructions on feeding, medication, and walks. She's also great at sending updates, so you're never left wondering how your dog is doing. She's that much of a dog lover that she genuinely just enjoys being in the presence of dogs, no matter the size, temperament, etc. As a housesitter, she's just as dependable. She keeps the house clean and overall presentable and treats your home with real respect. She's punctual, communicates clearly, and takes responsibility seriously. If you're looking for someone who will love your dog like her own and give you total peace of mind while you're away, Kathleen is the one. I'd trust her with my own pets in a heartbeat!
I can’t recommend Kathleen highly enough as a dog sitter! She is a wonderful dog mom to her own dog, and you can really see how much love, time, and effort she puts into caring for and training her dog. Her dog is incredibly well-behaved, friendly, and social with other dogs, which is a reflection of the care and consistency she provides. Kathleen has a great way with dogs and knows when to be firm and set boundaries, but she is also incredibly warm, patient, friendly, and approachable. She is responsible, attentive, trustworthy, and genuinely loves animals. Any dog (and their owner) would be lucky to have Kathleen as their sitter!
Kathleen is someone I'd entrust our beloved dog again as she understands basic dog behavior and can recognize stress, fear or illness. She is attentive to our dog's needs and was able to follow the care instructions given to her. She is responsible and reliable, shows up as promised and communicates promptly. Her patience and calm demeanor makes her a wonderful companion to our dog while we were away. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I have a flexible and open schedule and plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can work around their usual meals, walks, playtime, and naps.

I’ll follow your dog’s routine closely, from meals and walks to the little quirks that make them them. I have a dog at home. She loves being around other dogs and is very lazy and cuddly!
Pets
A typical day
Our day will include walks with plenty of sniff breaks, playtime, and time to relax. I love long walks and am always happy to have a walking buddy, but I’ll match your dog’s pace and energy level. I’m also within walking distance of the beach, so if your pup enjoys beach outings, we can with your okay. I’ll follow their usual feeding and potty schedule and make time for their favorite toys, games, or cuddles. You’ll also get photos and updates so you can see how your pup is settling in!

- Tell me about your dog’s usual routine, personality, and anything that helps them feel comfortable! I’d like to know about food allergies, medications, feeding and potty schedules, and how they do around other dogs and people. Please share any separation anxiety, leash pulling, escape habits, or sensitivity around food and toys. It’s also helpful to know their favorite activities, where they usually sleep, and your vet and emergency contact information. Little quirks are welcome, the more I know, the better I can care for them!
